The first thing you’ll notice about The Farm is how quickly the rest of the world disappears. The ridges, draped in scrub oak and century-old pines, cradle The Farm’s open spaces like a protective mother. That’s 140 acres of dedicated open space and pure bliss. Looking westward over delightful ponds and meadows, there is little to disturb the majestic mountain views, making it ever so easy to forget the city that lies beyond.
Trails & Parks
The Farm has planned for nearly four miles of recreational trails that loop around ponds and open spaces. Along the way, you’ll find a couple neighborhood parks, eight pocket parks, each one different from the next, and sweeping mountain views. The community is dedicating approximately 25 acres to parks and trails. Plus, the nature/wildlife preserve open spaces account for about 130 acres. This will be a great way to reconnect with nature and meet your neighbors.
Grand Opening Scheduled for early 2020
The Gathering Place
Imagine the fun to be had at The Gathering Place. This is where canoes and kayaks will be launched, live music enjoyed, beachside strolls taken at sunset and stories told about the one that got away. Located on “Lake Ann” among miles of preserved trees and native vegetation.
The Gathering Place will be the heart of the community offering all sorts of ways to connect
with nature, family and friends.
Best of all, The Gathering Place offers a daily refuge where residents can recharge with a walk around the ponds, or enjoy the indoor/outdoor fitness rooms in The Clubhouse.
The pool will provide a refreshing way for adults and kids alike to beat the summer sun. The outdoor patio will be the ideal spot to enjoy a sunset libation, a fitting close to a fun-filled day at The Farm.
While living with nature is an education in itself, families living at The Farm will benefit from the highly regarded District 20 schools. Additionally, The Farm has set aside 15 acres at the entrance for an elementary school to be built at District 20’s discretion. Before long, families with school-aged children will enjoy the luxury of having a top-notch school within walking distance. The Farm community currently falls within the boundaries of the following District 20 schools: The Da Vinci Academy, Discovery Canyon and The Classical Academy.
